While I was in elementary school in the early 1970's, my family frequented Backbone State Park. We enjoyed the many swimming, hiking and picnicking opportunities, as well as simply driving thru the park. Maybe that's where my appreciation for conservation started?
I, too, have spent many summer days with my family enjoying Backbone State Park. Some of my favorite activities included exploring the caves and creek stomping.
