I lived about 15 minutes from this site for four years not knowing it was there... I returned to the area as part of a project documenting some of the outdoor destinations in the region. Our group had a serene moment at the overlook before going down to Whitewater Creek and hopping on the giant slabs of ice that piled up at the river bend. A fun winter excursion... looking forward to visiting during a warmer season too!
